1995 BMW M3 COUPE â" E36 â" $38,520 ORIGINAL RETAIL PRICE Sienna Collection proudly presents this 1995 BMW M3 Coupe, an iconic first-year U.S.-market E36 M3 and one of the most important modern performance cars in BMW M history. With an original MSRP of $37,950 and an original retail price of $38,520 including destination, this example represents the era when BMW M cars were defined by lightweight construction, naturally aspirated power, hydraulic steering, and a direct mechanical connection to the driver. Powered by BMWâs naturally aspirated inline-six and paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission, this M3 combines classic 1990s German engineering with the understated styling and balanced chassis that made the E36 M3 legendary among enthusiasts. VEHICLE SPECIFICATION Year: 1995 Make: BMW Model: M3 Coupe Generation: E36 Engine: 3.0L Naturally Aspirated Inline-6 Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic Drivetrain: Rear-Wheel Drive Horsepower: 240 HP VIN: WBSBF9324SEH04969 Base MSRP: $37,950 Original Shipping Charge: $570 Retail Price When New: $38,520 E36 M3 HIGHLIGHTS ⢠First Model Year for the U.S.-Market E36 M3 ⢠3.0L Naturally Aspirated BMW M Inline-6 ⢠240 Horsepower ⢠Rear-Wheel Drive ⢠4-Speed Automatic Transmission ⢠BMW M-Tuned Suspension ⢠Four-Wheel Independent Suspension ⢠Hydraulic Power-Assisted Steering ⢠Sport-Oriented Chassis Calibration ⢠Classic Two-Door Coupe Body ⢠Split-Folding Rear Seats ⢠Multi-Information Display ⢠10-Speaker Audio System ⢠Factory BMW Tool Kit WHY THE 1995 M3 IS SPECIAL The 1995 model year holds particular significance for American BMW enthusiasts because it marked the arrival of the E36 M3 in the United States. Rather than relying on turbocharging, complex hybrid systems, or extensive electronic intervention, the E36 formula was beautifully simple: a naturally aspirated straight-six, rear-wheel drive, a finely balanced chassis, and precise steering. That simplicity is a major reason clean E36 M3s have become increasingly desirable. 3.0L NATURALLY ASPIRATED INLINE-SIX The 1995 U.S.-specification M3 uses BMWâs 3.0-liter S50 inline-six, producing 240 horsepower. The engine is known for smooth power delivery, linear response, and the characteristic sound of a naturally aspirated BMW straight-six. While modern M cars produce dramatically more horsepower, the E36âs lighter weight and mechanical feel create a driving experience that is difficult to reproduce in a contemporary performance car. CLASSIC REAR-WHEEL-DRIVE BMW M CHARACTER The E36 M3 was engineered around traditional BMW performance principles. Its rear-wheel-drive layout, balanced weight distribution, multi-link rear suspension, coil springs, gas-pressure dampers, anti-roll bars, and speed-sensitive hydraulic steering give it the natural, communicative feel that helped establish BMW Mâs reputation. The emphasis was not simply on outright speed, but on balance and driver involvement. PERIOD-CORRECT 1990s LUXURY The interior offers a distinctly different experience from todayâs screen-dominated performance cars. Period equipment includes: ⢠Multi-Information Display ⢠Digital Clock ⢠Outside Temperature Display ⢠Freeze Warning ⢠Split-Folding Rear Seats ⢠Anti-Theft AM/FM Cassette Audio System ⢠10-Speaker Sound System ⢠Pre-Wiring for BMW CD Changer ⢠CFC-Free Air Conditioning ⢠Power Windows ⢠Illuminated Master Key ⢠BMW Check Control Vehicle Monitor These details give the car genuine period character and make the cabin immediately recognizable as a classic 1990s BMW. AN IMPORTANT MODERN BMW COLLECTOR CAR The E36 M3 sits at an important point in BMW M history. It followed the original E30 M3 but introduced a smoother six-cylinder powertrain and greater everyday refinement, helping transform the M3 from a homologation-oriented performance car into the benchmark sports coupe and sedan that enthusiasts know today. As unmodified and well-preserved examples become increasingly difficult to find, the 1995 first-year U.S. model carries particular enthusiast appeal. AVAILABLE FROM SIENNA COLLECTION At Sienna Collection, we specialize in distinctive luxury, exotic, performance, and collector automobiles selected for their specification, history, presence, and desirability. Still fun after all these years

It’s nimble it’s aggressive, handles like a race car drivers dream. Easy to wrench on, lots of interchangeable parts between models. My m3 sedan looks better than most cars today. Paint is excellent, seats have held up pretty good. Best part is this car can still take most sports cars out there today. The inline six is the best engine bmw ever made. - 5.0
