1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS-396

LeMans Blue with a White Parchment interior, a matching-numbers 396 and a 4-speed manual: this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 is for sale at Sienna Collection in Pompano Beach, Florida. The car has been through a full rotisserie restoration and still carries its original engine. For a muscle car collector, that mix of color, drivetrain and restoration history makes this pre-owned Chevelle worth a trip to see. The engine is the original, numbers-matching 396 cubic inch V8, backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. Power reaches the pavement through a 12-bolt positraction rear axle, the kind of hardware buyers look for on an SS 396. The LeMans Blue paint was applied during the rotisserie restoration, and the work extended to the chrome trim and badges, with components either original or authentically reproduced. Inside, White Parchment vinyl front bucket seats sit on either side of a factory-correct console, facing SS-specific gauges. The white cabin against the blue body gives the 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 a strong contrast that reads well in photos and better in person. Character is simple with a car like this: a large V8, a clutch pedal and a shifter in a two-door body. The 4-speed and the positraction axle make it an involving car on the road, and the restoration gives it a place on a show field as well. It suits the collector who puts the original engine at the top of the list, and the driver who wants a restored SS that is exercised on weekends instead of parked. We are glad to go over the numbers and the restoration details with any serious buyer.
